We are a pediatric therapy clinic looking for a dedicated, caring team member to handle our front desk. Must have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented.
This position requires excellent time management and organization skills and the ability to multi-task as well as interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers, parents and patients.
Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently and be competent handling phone calls is a must.
Responsibilities :
The front desk specialist is responsible for the overall success of the front office functions of a busy Pediatric Therapy office.
- Provides excellent customer service
- Greets patients and visitors to the office
- Check In and Check Out patients
- Books patient appointments
- Verify insurance for patient appointments
- Registers patients in the EMR system which may mean entering information given verbally or on registration forms
- Collects identification and insurance cards and copies or scans them for the medical record, may photograph the patient for the record
- Collect co-pays and outstanding patient balances
- Has patient sign financial agreement, receipt of privacy policy, benefits assignment, etc
- Answer phone calls, take messages and make appointments
