- First to float.
- Staffing may require weekend coverage more frequently at times.
- Follow a holiday rotation.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- 1 : 5-6 nurse to patient ratio.
- Specializing in acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit.
- 32 private beds dedicated to post-op back surgery and related care.
- Common treatments include lumbar drains, PCA & ketamine drips.
- Handling of heparin, insulin, cardizem, and amiodarone drips without titration, and frequent pain medication administration.
