JOB SUMMARY
We are a leader in robotics innovation, pushing the boundaries of human-robot interactions. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in React and Python, particularly with a focus on front-end development, to join our Fleet Management team based in Austin, TX.
This is a unique opportunity to work on enhancing the operation and efficiency of a fleet of advanced robots in diverse settings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop software solutions using React and Python to support the management of robotic fleets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features for real-time monitoring, tracking, and control of robotic systems.
- Integrate data from various sensors to optimize fleet operations and performance.
- Create APIs and interfaces to ensure smooth communication between fleet management software and robotic systems.
- Design data storage systems for logging and analyzing performance metrics of the robotic fleet.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality software.
- Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in fleet management and robotics.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with an emphasis on scalable application development.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as React, Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of software development experience, ideally with a background in robotics or fleet management systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
