Inova Lorton Healthplex ED is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team
Schedule : PRN, shift varies
2 years minimum ED experience required
Must be available to complete fulltime 4week orientation*
Inova HealthPlex - Lorton is a full-service healthcare facility that combines the latest technology with a comprehensive array of services, including 24-hour emergency department, radiology and laboratory services.
Job Summary :
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
- Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Requirements :
Requires a minimum of twelve months of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
- 2 years minimum ED experience required
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
- Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
- CEN / ACLS certification desired
- Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
- Proficient computer skills required.
