Competitive base pay, $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers (paid quarterly), home nightly (every other night or weekends).

Pay (CDL Class A Company Driver)

• $5,000 Sign On Bonus (experienced), $1,500 (inexperienced), $1,500 (student loan reimbursement)
• $.50 to $.61 cents (Mileage Rate per Mile)
• $1,200 to $1,700 (Weekly Pay Range)
• $62,000 to $88,000 (Annual Pay Range

Qualifications (CDL Class A Company Driver)

• Must have a valid class "A" CDL
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have six months over-the-road experience or completion of from an accredited truck driving school
• Muss pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen and must receive a negative result
• Must consent to a 10-year check on work history
• No more than 3 moving violation in the last 12 months, and no more than 5 violations in the last 3 years
• No "serious" violations in the last 3 years, serious violations include, OWI, DUI, reckless driving, or speeding in excess of 15 mph over limit
• You will be an at-will employee throughout employment at Amhof Trucking, Nothing in these guidelines, your application, or in the employee handbook guarantees employment for any period of time or is intended to be a contract of employment.

Responsibilities (CDL Class A Company Driver)

• Report to the Operations Department
• 70 hours in 8 days, 11 hours driving time, 14 hour work shifts with 30 minute breaks
• Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo, materials, or damaged vehicle.
• Maintains satellite communication contact Operations to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
• Keeps record of materials and products transported.
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
• Picks up preloaded trailer delivers cargo to Consignee.
• Drive tractor-trailer in all conditions in accordance with Federal regulations, normally in periods of driving within hours-of-service limitations, followed by an off-duty period as required by regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver's logs and other records required by law.
• Opens trailer doors to allow dockhands to remove cargo.
• Obtains customer signature or collects payment for goods delivered and delivery charges
