Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will work with students across K-12 to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and munication disorders.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse student population and will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities :
- Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct prehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Therapeutic Intervention : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language needs.
- IEP Development : Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create and review IEPs for students with munication disorders.
- Progress Monitoring : Regularly assess and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Consultation : Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' munication needs.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
- Excellent organizational and munication skills.
