BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
ProService is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive the growth of our strategic HR products and services, trusted by local businesses.
This role requires a sales professional with a deep understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to relationship building and closing deals.
The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to compellingly present our offerings.
Within the first three months, you'll need to articulate ProService's value proposition effectively and obtain the Hawaii State Resident Producer License for Accident & Health.
Success in this role involves demonstrating proficiency in conducting impactful discovery meetings and independently managing the sales process.
We're seeking someone with strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with a proven B2B sales track record, who thrives on achieving results and values teamwork.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM
- Proven track record of sales success in a B2B environment. Experience canvassing and cold calling local businesses in various industries.
- Ability to manage complex sales and develop strategic plans.
- Effective negotiation skills proven to close new business.
- Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with ability to sell at all decision-making levels.
- Tenacity, resilience, and passion to achieve results, and the need to win.
- Willingness to collaborate and contribute to our norm of "winning as a team".
- Professional demeanor and the ability to create favorable first impressions.
- Able to establish trust and credibility, both internally and externally with a strong code of ethics and values.
- Reliable mode of transportation for travel across Oahu.
- Industry experience in Human Resources, payroll, or employer insurances preferred.

The base compensation for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of performance based commissions / bonuses.
The commission / bonus payout is between $50,000 and $90,000 annually when performing within the target range.
This position is hybrid located in Hawaii Kai, Honolulu, HI. This is an alternate hours position. Occasional attendance to networking and prospecting events is required and often these events are outside the hours of 8-5.
