Attorney
Our client, a boutique business litigation firm in Englewood Cliffs, NJ is seeking to hire a Litigation Associate Attorney to their team.
The successful candidate will be a 3rd- 10th year associate.
Candidate will be able to get hands on experience working on various types of commercial litigation matters business litigation, environmental law, regulatory work, some IP related matters, contract review and agreements, etc.
- Drafting complaints and answers
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, interrogatories, memos, demands, and other legal documents.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve client goals.
- Engage in discovery processes, interrogatories, and document production.
- Participate in preparing for depositions, and taking / defending depositions if they have that experience.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Open to : 3+ years of experience -OR- a more experienced candidate as well.
- Looking for attorneys with a background in commercial litigation (no insurance defense or collection).

- Looking for a good person, someone who takes pride in their work and cares about being part of the team. Honest. Diligent.
- Need someone diligent and experienced, but open to have a junior attorney if they have the right mentality.
The position is hybrid in-office and remote. We are not interested in anyone wanting full remote.
