About the Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead, mentor, and coach a team to cultivate a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include organizing shifts, participating in budgeting and progress evaluation, analyzing production metrics, implementing corrective actions, and identifying areas for enhancement.
You will also oversee training programs and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will work rotating shifts and play a pivotal role in the teams success.
About You
The ideal candidate for the Shift Supervisor role will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent education, with further education considered a plus.
You should have a minimum of 3 years of industrial / manufacturing experience, preferably in industries such as wood product manufacturing, pulp and paper, or similar.
Proficiency in Pneumatic Conveyors, Hydraulics, Electronics, and MS Office is required. You should be independent, proactive, highly organized, a problem solver, and an effective communicator.
Due to the outdoor manufacturing environment, you must be willing to work in rigorous conditions, including extreme heat, cold, dust, and wetness.
Physical fitness is essential, as you will be required to perform various physical tasks, including walking, climbing, twisting, turning, grasping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, and working on platforms exceeding 100 feet.
