Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Position : Our Client is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner they are offering the following benefits :

Requirements :
- Board Certified PMHNP
- Active Florida license
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Computer competency is required
- Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
- Show initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to provide quality healthcare
Responsibilities :
- Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM or Monday-Thursday 8AM - 6PM
- Providing coverage for various programs.
- Working with both adults and children.
- Providing care for those with Mental Health and / or substance use disorders.
- Cross-training to complete psychiatric evaluations and / or medication management
- Handling physical examinations for various programs
- Completing medication management appointments for Clients under Baker Acts
- Taking guidance from Client Psychiatrists and participating as part of a multi-disciplinary team
