Duties : Performs technician tasks including general maintenance at a more highly skilled level involved in the maintenance of equipment used for wastewater lift stations, including mechanical and electrical repair of pumps.
Maintenance may also include mowing and weed eating around lift stations and painting of lift stations as needed. May use SCADA operations in monitoring and maintenance of wastewater systems.
May be subject to call out service after hours. Works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.
- Qualifications : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four years related experience and / or training;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience. May require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying; kneeling, crouching and bending;
pushing, pulling and reaching; and standing for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record. Basic Wastewater Certification. PREFFERED : Class B Commercial Drivers License
