ABOUT THE POSITION

The Sr. Product Line Manager will take the lead in creating seasonal product strategies that align to the vision of Unlocking the Outdoors for Everyone.

The Product Line Manager executes on the development of seasonal line plans and ensure successful Go-To-Market activities globally.

This role will partner with cross functional teams to develop and drive the execution of the aligned vision of the product line that delivers to the needs of the consumer while driving profitable growth.

The ideal candidate will have 5 - 7 years of experience in the apparel and footwear industry, with a keen eye for fashion trends, strong analytical skills, and an understanding of how to drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising strategies.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies for apparel and footwear that align with the company's overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate with design and product development teams to ensure the creation of commercially viable products that meet customer needs and market demands.
  • Plan and manage product assortments, ensuring a balanced and profitable product mix across various channels and markets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to ensure optimal inventory turnover and minimize excess stock.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Work closely with visual merchandising teams to create compelling in-store displays and online presentations that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Develop and execute promotional plans and markdown strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor junior merchandisers, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success and professional development.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and e-commerce teams to ensure cohesive and effective merchandising strategies across all channels.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in merchandising and product line management, preferably in the apparel and footwear industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful merchandising strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Experience with merchandising software and inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Keen eye for fashion trends and a strong sense of style and aesthetics.
  • Ability to translate market trends into commercially viable product assortments.
