Job Overview
The Senior Manager USAID Central Accounting and Reporting (CAR) position is responsible for overseeing project personnel and interacting with government management personnel and compliance representatives assigned to the project.
This position is in the USAID Annex Building, 500 D Street SW and is telework eligible at the discretion of the customer, with no less than three (3) days per week required on site.
Salary Range : $140K - $165K annually based on experience.
Work Model : Onsite / Office-Based
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Oversee project personnel and interact with management personnel and compliance representatives assigned to the project.
- Responsible for the coordination of subordinate personnel activities and project resources.
- Plans and manages award performance.
- Reviews and evaluates personnel and project performance and responsible for project final report. Manages, organizes, plans, directs, coordinates, controls, administers, monitors, and oversees the day-to-day operational and administrative tasks / activities of the contracts.
- Anticipates problems and opportunities and addresses them appropriately and effectively.
- Oversees the development, implementation and reporting of performance metrics.
- Performs continuous review of program performance results and interfaces with client to address status, operational issues, and metrics in a timely manner.
- Ensures work is executed in accordance with company practices and values and client specifications.
- Exercises sound business practices / methods; ensures all business activities follow all corporate policies / procedures and contract requirements;
are carried out in a legal and ethical manner and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and are in accordance with good corporate practice.

Job Requirements
Mandatory :
- Must possess a Bachelor’s college degree from a fully accredited University or College.
- Must have a CPA, Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or master’s degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Must have (7) seven years of accounting or business consulting experience including a minimum of (3) three years of managerial experience.
- Experience showing good communication, interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be able to successfully obtain a favorably adjudicated full-scope background check (Public Trust) to include a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check prior to start.
