Paralegal
Staffing Now, a division of SNI Companies , has partnered with our client to hire a full-time Paralegal. The position is working with a growing boutique litigation and appellate law firm.
A summary of the responsibilities include :
Principle Duties :
- Evaluate and screen calls from prospective clients to assess whether their legal matters align with our areas of expertise.
- Respond to clients and opposing counsel / staff promptly and professionally through phone and email communication
- Schedule attorney meetings with opposing counsel or clients in a timely manner
- Prepare expense reports, handling basic accounting tasks, develop policies and procedures to accommodate anticipate growth
Requirements :
- Minimum four (4) years of complex civil litigation experience
- Extensive experience with trial preparation as well as comprehensive knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure
- Ability to manage a high-volume and high-conflict litigation caseload and help move cases forward
- Extensive experience with trial preparation as well as comprehensive knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and legal case management software
Compensation and Benefits :
The compensation for this position starts at $65,000 a year. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience.
