• Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm.
• Call rotation is 1 : 4 during business days and hours with MD support and collaboration.
• General Neurology Department with the ability to focus on select patient populations.
• Patient Population consists of patients with diagnoses of Migraine / Headaches, Concussion, Epilepsy, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular Disorders, Neuropathy
• Experienced Neurodiagnostic Services provided by our Neurodiagnostic team with the ability to complete EEGs both inpatient and ambulatory and EMGs.
• Volumes : Inpatient : 2-4 consults per day with daily follow-up and roundingOutpatient : 10-15 patients per day

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.

The NP / PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Position requires a high level of patient-centered skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

EDUCATION / TRAINING :

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR.
• National certification in applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
