Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Experience : 2 years required License : Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license required Certifications : BLS, ACLS required Must-Have : - Experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (specifically craniotomies)- Level I trauma experience, but highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in similar-sized or larger facilities will be considered Job Description : - Night shift from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00, 3 times per week- Work in a Level 1 trauma center OR with 11 rooms, handling high-volume ortho, trauma, and spine cases, as well as all other specialties- Minimal experience in pediatrics required- Must be on assignment through all three designated holidays, with the option to request one holiday off- Expected to work two out of three specified holidays : New Year's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day- Weekend shifts are required as needed, usually every third weekend- No on-call or floating requirements- Scrubs are provided- Use of Cerner for charting- Participate in orientation for 12 hours, non-billable- All employees must adhere to the facility's quality and patient safety standards including medication administration- Compliance documentation must be submitted by the Wednesday prior to the start date- Modules to be completed during the first week of orientation, average of 6 hours, recorded by LMS transcripts Additional Requirements : - If you are part of a travel pair, mention this in your application- Candidates must be comfortable with possible floating to other units based on skill sets and census- Two professional references are required, one from the most recent employer checked within one year prior to the start date, and the second within two years- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions and declinations allowed
