Responsibilities Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO.

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) manages the immediate milieu of patients, facilitates group therapy, aids with activities of daily living, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse.
Other duties include but are not limited to : Consistently provides supervision for assigned patients. Facilitate psycho-educational groups.
Clearly documents observations of patient behavior. Performs basic housekeeping tasks required to maintain patient living areas.
Ensures safety of patient at all times. Ensures Patients Rights and Confidentiality are maintained.
