job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMedical Stepdown Unit 1 Needed 3x12 Nights 26 beds. The Intermediate Care unit (IMCU) is a critical care step-down unit dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based care to our patients. We receive patients from many areas, including but not limited to : the Emergency Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and medical-surgical floors. Our patient population consists of adult, acute care patients who require more specialized care than is available on a general medical-surgical unit. All of our patients have continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring. We care for patients needing airway management, acute BIPAP support, patients with arterial lines, central lines and patients requiring titrated medicated IV infusions. Patient care services vary widely, depending on each individual's specific needs. Our team adapts quickly, is vigilant and provides compassionate care using a multi-disciplinary approach. 1st time travelers ok Travel pairs ok if they will work different schedules No locals (75 miles) Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Tertiary Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds : 528 Scrub Color : Navy, or white top and navy bottoms Charting : Epic State License 1 Verification Required within 1 year of contract start date : Color Blind Testing Online 3x12 Nights Intermediate Care unit (IMCU) is a critical care step-down unit AHA only. Required for all MS / TELE units.
