About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab Unit (Nights) Job Specialty : Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend, 2 major and 2 minor holidays Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Experience with direct patient care preferred License : RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact) Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have : Strong commitment to patient care and team collaboration Job Description : Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver individualized, evidence-based care.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods for setting and purpose to ensure patient goals are central to the care plan.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care, promoting inclusive interdisciplinary communication.- Demonstrate teamwork and promote the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.- Complete all required professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified workforce and promote a healthy work environment.- Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research to improve patient care outcomes.
- Uphold organizational policies, standards, and legal / regulatory requirements, contributing to patient safety and quality care initiatives.
- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum and participate in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
- Support efficient use of human and material resources.- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all organizational policies and codes of conduct.
