What You'll Do as a Youth Mobile Response Social Worker / Therapist :
- Respond to youth crisis calls with the Crisis team.
- Engage with people in crisis
- De-escalate and provide linkage to appropriate level of care.
Primary duties include for the Youth Mobile Response Social Worker / Therapist :
- Assessing and diagnosing clients
- Creating treatment plans specific to the client’s goals, strengths and weaknesses
- Providing emergency therapy interventions that take into account the client’s strengths, weaknesses and preferences
- Providing crisis intervention and assessing risk factors of harm to self or others
- Referring to alternative or supportive services based on the client’s needs
- Providing timely electronic clinical documentation
- Consulting and supervision with other clinicians
- Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Hiring Requirements for the Social Worker / Therapist :
- LSW / LMHCA / LMFTA required
- LCSW / LMHC / LMFT preferred.
- Candidates with or eligible for a temporary license will be considered at a pro-rated salary.
- Must provide diploma and official transcripts
- Three years of experience in social service setting preferred
