About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Emergency Department Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have : - Meditech experience - Team player, engaged, positive attitude Job Description : - Bi-weekly orientation - Provide care in a facility with 294 beds and Joint Commission Accreditation - Comprehensively treat patients including cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services - Work in an emergency department with 26 beds and patient ratios of 1 : 4-5, flexible depending on acuity - Utilize GE Monitors and standard emergency department equipment - Care for all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatrics - Manage common diagnoses such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and HTN - Maintain a positive and professional environment by working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team - Dress Code : Any color scrubs Additional Information : - 45 miles east of a major city - Close proximity to the coast and major universities - Supervisor : Donna Nanney
