A company is looking for a Coding Quality Specialist to audit Pro Fee accounts and provide education.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform complex retrospective analysis of medical record documentation to identify coding and billing errorsProvide technical support and feedback training to internal coding staff regarding coding complianceMaintain QA percentages within internal quality goals and assist in improving coder productivity and accuracyRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationRecognized coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC;
CPC or CCS preferred5-7 years of experience coding and / or auditing in an acute care facility or clinicFamiliarity with hospital outpatient billing processes and APC assignmentExperience with telecommuting and electronic medical records systems preferredProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
