Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license – required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for surgical patients

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment

Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures

Accurately document all aspects of patient care

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
