Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with educational teams and families to support students' needs.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings, using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and promote students' overall development.
• Monitor and document students' progress regularly, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure therapeutic goals are achieved.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to educational planning and decision-making processes.
• Stay informed about advances in the field of speech-language pathology and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.

Qualifications :

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred; new graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a school environment.
