SUMMARY
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of technology related projects throughout the organization.
This role involves managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. Works closely with all stakeholders, team members, subject matter experts, and vendors to achieve project goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Project Planning and Management
- Develops detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Manages the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Utilizes proven project management methodologies to plan and execute projects.
- Subject matter expert in the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework and incorporates all Franklin Covey PM Essentials concepts while working with internal customers.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
- Serves as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team.
- Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among project team members, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.
- Maintains project documentation, including status reports, work plans, risk logs and post implementation reviews
- Monitors and reports on project progress, performance and any deviations from the planned schedule or budget
Resource Management
- Assigns and manages project resources, including team members and external vendors.
- Ensures that project participants are aligned with business goals and objectives.
Risk Management
- Identifies potential risks and issues related to projects and implements corrective actions to mitigate them.
- Monitors project progress and adjusts plans as necessary to address any challenges or changes in scope.
Quality Assurance
- Ensures that project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Conducts regular reviews and follow up assessments to ensure project objectives are being met.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives within project management processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
IT Team Support
- Provides strategic IT guidance to business stakeholders, ensuring that technology solutions align with the company's broader goals
- Oversees high-level IT operations in one or more of the following categories
- Microsoft systems administration including Active Directory and Azure Cloud
- Cybersecurity systems administration including EDR / XDR, VM, and SIEM tools
- Advanced network administration
- Supports the IT team in resolving escalated issues and provide mentorship to team members
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent IT certifications.
- A PMP, PMI-ACP (Agile), or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management & complex interdepartmental projects. Multi-Family or Commercial Real Estate industry experience a plus or 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects on time, on budget, and on scope, with high customer satisfaction and business value.
- Prior experience managing an IT team strongly preferred
- High-level skills in project management software (such as Asana) strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various IT areas like ERP, Applications, SaaS, Infrastructure, Networks and their integration with business processes.

- High-level understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, system integration, and cloud technologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with self-direction.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and working with third-party service providers.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
- Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public.
- Ability to manage, coach and lead individuals
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with invoices and accounts payable functions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
