Job Summary :
Are you a skilled maintenance leader with a passion for food production? We're seeking a dedicated hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Job Duties :
- Team Leadership : Oversee a team of skilled technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Equipment Optimization : Implement proactive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
- Technical Expertise : Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Quality Assurance : Adhere to strict food safety and quality standards, as well as regulatory guidelines.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for innovation and cost-saving measures.
Qualifications :
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
- Proven Experience : 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Leadership Skills : Ability to motivate, delegate, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Problem-Solving Abilities : A keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
