Job Overview
The Senior Executive Director position is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations and management of a senior living community.
This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality care and services are provided to residents.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of staff members to deliver exceptional care to residents
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of residents, including those in memory care
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the senior living community, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to ensure a supportive environment
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff
Skills
- Experience in supervising staff in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or memory care
- Strong knowledge of home community care, nursing home, long-term care, and assisted living practices
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Background in nursing or healthcare management is preferred but not required
