Career Opportunity
As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our customers, partners, and end-users.
With your expertise in TypeScript, you'll craft clean, efficient, and maintainable code in an Agile or Scrum environment, driving our projects forward.
Candidates applying for this position will not only have strong proficiency in software development they will also have a deep understanding of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Your experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) and front-end technologies (React or Angular) will be beneficial in this role.
Additionally, you should be comfortable leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and actively participating in the strategic planning of our technology roadmap.

Your Role
- Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within Agile / Scrum environments, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications using TypeScript and relevant frameworks
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, understand user needs, and translate them into technical specifications for product development.
- Establish and promote coding standards, testing protocols, and deployment practices that enhance code quality, maintainability, and compliance with industry regulations (i.e. HIPAA).
- Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices, while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a team growth environment.
- Utilize user feedback and analytics to continuously improve application features and performance with a focus on usability for caregivers and their families.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
- Participate in the strategic planning of the technology roadmap, offering insights on architectural decisions and technology choices that align with company goals and user needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record in full-stack development and successful project leadership.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with at least one other modern programming language (i.e. Go, Ruby, Python).
- Demonstrated experience in developing cloud-based solutions on platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including collaboration with remote teams (both onshore and offshore).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
