Senior Design Project Engineer

Location : Boston, MA- Hybrid / Fully remote option for stellar candidate.
Role Overview : As a Senior Project Engineer - Design Assurance, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale offshore wind projects.
You'll oversee the entire design process, from initial feasibility to final commissioning, ensuring adherence to industry standards and maximizing ROI.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design Assurance : Implement processes and tools for design validation, manage risks, and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design Management : Coordinate Engineering Stage Gate Reviews, enhance design stages, and manage design maturity.
- Design Safety : Enforce safety protocols, manage risk registers, and develop contingency plans.
- Design Optimization : Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize performance, and compile a Technical Opportunities Register.
- Reporting : Develop and maintain reporting systems to track progress and compliance.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (advanced degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in offshore industry design (offshore wind is a plus).
- Proven experience in design management, safety, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
