Job Description
As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Corporate Sector Enterprise Technology, you will act as a servant leader for your team(s) by facilitating clear communication to management and to the team.

The Lead TPM drives delivery frameworks that result in quality product / service delivery and continuous improvement. The Lead TPM is responsible for removing impediments that hinder the team from reaching their goals and has a flexible approach that enables the team to rapidly respond to changes.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborates across Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Engineers to align with the product / service vision, product line wide program increment goals, and other necessary information
- Lead and facilitate delivery frameworks across multiple area product and service teams to plan and execute the product backlog, including quarterly program increment planning
- Lead and coordinate the execution of cross product and cross product line value streams and dependencies using scaled agile techniques
- Champions continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coaches teams to conduct continuous improvement events
- Seeks opportunities for improvement to the overall effectiveness of teams and the organization
- Communicates organizational impediments to leadership; clears impediments for the team
- Embraces the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instills the same in the team(s) you coach
- Learn and leverage existing service delivery practices within the organization
- Assess existing practices, identify deficiencies and gaps, and create plans to remediate
- Bring in industry experience when helping implement tools, techniques, frameworks and practices surrounding product and delivery
- Leverage and align Jira / Jira Align reporting to achieve product / service goals and outcomes
- Create effective communication approaches at all levels of the product line
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, 5 + years product / service delivery experience preferred, at least 2 working on large scale global infrastructure or software development projects
- Expert understanding and hands on experience of scaled delivery practices, estimating, planning, dependency management, and execution
- Strong familiarity and adherence to core Agile values and principles
- A mindset of servant leadership and an ability to coach and mentor
- Experience facilitating scaled agile practices (program increment planning, value stream mapping, team of teams / scrum of scrums, agile release planning)
- Ability to remove impediments, solve problems, resolve conflict, and enforce agreed-upon rules with the Team
- Prior experience in creating and improving agile processes within a team or a company
- Understanding of modern engineering practices like Test-Driven Development, CI / CD
- Experience working with globally diverse and distributed teams
- Advanced knowledge of Atlassian agility and product tools - Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Align
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline
- Strong written / verbal communication, analysis, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership capability and self-motivated team player
- Ability to organize / manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
