Mental Health Tech (MHT) - Every Other Weekend

Responsibilities Foundations Behavioral Health is hiring Mental Health Techs for a weekend position. The schedule is 16 hours / week - Every other Saturday and Sunday 7a - 11 : 30p.

This position offers a part-time benefits package and a weekend differential. The Mental Health Technician participates in observing, reporting and recording of patient behaviors under the supervision of nursing.

Responsible to help provide a safe and secure unit environment for all patients and staff in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

e. coaching, teaching, case management, etc.) Or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in an area of hum services, which includes, but may not be limited to the following psychology sociology, political science, counseling, criminal justice, pastoral counseling, elementary / special education, or family therapy Must be compassionate about the care and safety of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Demonstrates an understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders, and utilizes effective behavior management techniques to increase communication, socialization, and daily basic living skills.

Respiratory Fit testing is a requirement of the job.
