About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (17 : 00 - 06 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : See hiring agreement Experience : 1 year required License : VA State Radiologic Technologist License (or temporary license for 90 days) Certifications : BLS, ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology Must-Have : Strong skills in OR and routine fluoroscopy Job Description : Work schedule includes Friday and Saturday from 17 : 00 to 06 : 00, and Sunday from 17 : 30 to 05 : 00.
- Handle a daily caseload of approximately 150.- On-call requirements are included.- Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, operating room, ER, NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU.
- Perform x-ray experience in extremities, abdomen / GI, spine / pelvis, head, chest / thorax, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy studies, lower / upper extremities, enema studies, and surgery / C-Arm.
- Proficient with PACS, portables, C-Arm, and contrast.- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.- Complete up to 8 hours of required modules within 1 week of signing.
- Mandatory COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine is required with no exemptions.- This is a level II trauma center, providing short-term acute care.
Note : Must include middle initial and adhere to specific experience and license requirements, as well as complete all necessary certifications prior to the start of employment.
