Purpose
To provide basic to complex administrative support and customer service for the Population Research Center.
Responsibilities
Assist with data entry, website editing, purchasing, payment processing, and travel reimbursements. Assist with event travel, set up, coordination, and clean up.
Monitor emails and filing systems and maintain department records. Receive and distribute mail. Other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level OR high school graduation or GED, and five years of clerical experience.
Highly detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and time management skills. Professional demeanor and dedication to excellent customer service.
Ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing travel arrangements. Experience working in a higher education setting. Experience with Define, FRMS, and Point Plus.
Familiar with UT purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.
Hourly Rate
$20.00

The work schedule is from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Employment Eligibility :

Retirement Plan Eligibility :
