Summary

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an On-Call PRN X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team! This flexible role is ideal for professionals looking to :

Cover shifts during staff vacations

Work 1 day per week plus every 3rd weekend

Pick up extra hours for additional income or seasonal / holiday cash

Job Duties :

  • Assists in overseeing physical maintenance of the Radiology department including equipment.
  • Responsible for keeping current on the use of the computer systems used in the BMC Radiology department.
  • Performs the duties as a BMC X-ray Technician.
  • Maintains effective working relationships within the Radiology department and with other BMC departments to ensure on-going communication.
  • Consistently checks each morning that QC tests have been run on the appropriate x-ray system(s) and processors.
  • Assists in maintaining adequate stock of supplies by coordinating with the BMC purchasing department and the departmental site-manager.
  • Good judgement on supply needs / stocking. Equipment maintenance needs.
  • Good Radiographic skills.
  • Good understanding of ICD-9 coding and billing procedures.

Education :

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Previous Experience :

  • 1+ years Radiology Technologist experience
  • Experience in Orthopedics and / or Pediatrics
  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies
  • The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience :

  • $30.45 - $39.59 / hour
  • This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
