Overview :

Locana, recently acquired by TRC, is looking for a GIS Sales Director to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts.

The GIS Sales Director will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities, foster client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.

This role will have a sales incentive bonus on top of the base salary. Travel is required up to 50%, otherwise this role can be done in most locations across the US.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand market presence.

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.

Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients within target industries and geographic regions.

Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Articulate the value proposition of our GIS solutions to prospective clients through presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring mutual benefit.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales organization, optimizing processes and workflows for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Geography, or related field.

Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the GIS industry.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, achieve revenue targets, and drive business growth.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

Ability to travel up to 50%

TRC offers jurisdiction specific benefit packages for International and Puerto Rico employees.

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation : Employee may be eligible for participation in the Companys annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
