Web Designer
As Web Designer, you will work alongside members of our product, marketing, and ecommerce teams to produce outstanding, relevant, and personalized content for our network of independent jewelers.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong sense of design, typography, and composition for web and mobile experiences and an understanding of common web design practices including responsive design.
A strong grasp of HTML and CSS fundamentals is required.
Responsibilities
Create and utilize digital assets developed through collaboration with graphic design team to produce all forms of promotional web and email content.
Participate in producing creative briefs for ecommerce campaignsPerform day-to-day website content tasks including, but not limited to, build out of HTML promotional web content, geo-targeted / account-based web content, tagging of website elements for tracking purposes, and custom website form creation.
Assist in coming up with new enhancements to the website content management system through collaboration with the Development and E-commerce teams.
Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
Collaborate with Marketing graphic designers and Web Design Manager to establish and maintain a consistent user experience across all marketing channels.
Collaborate with E-commerce team associates to establish and maintain an ongoing A / B testing program to maximize promotional web content and email effectiveness.
Keep up to date with the latest web design best practices and new web design methodologies and technologies.Provide timely updates and estimates to the Web Design Manager
Qualifications
4 year college degree or equivalent experienceExcellent design portfolio of work or school projects.In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery languagesAbility to troubleshoot cross-browser display issues including mobile devicesUnderstanding of responsive web design methodologiesIn-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative SuiteDetail oriented and well organizedOutstanding time management skills and ability to handle deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent collaboration skills
