This is an exciting opportunity to join our Vascular team as a Registered Nurse- O.R. / Interventional! We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in busy Interventional Nephrology practice.
The Registered Nurse- O.R. / Interventional gathers pre-treatment patient data, monitors patients and medications during procedures, maintains prescription drug logs and provides assistance to the clinical team during pre and post procedure activities.
This role will circulate for our surgical cases.

What You’ll do :
- Provide ongoing patient information to the physician and clinical team during procedures to deliver vascular access care to the patient including but not limited to cardiac monitoring, aldrete score, pain status
- Monitor patient vitals (HR, BP, O2sat, EKG) during procedures
- Maintain radiation safety when C-Arm is in use in the procedure room
- Circulate for Surgical Cases
- Assist in the procedure room preparation, maintain sterile technique in the procedure room; assist with pre and post procedures including assessment of discharge
- Assist in recovery room patient care following vascular access procedures and surgical cases
- Monitor and record use of all medications during procedures
- Gather patient clinical information prior to procedures including patient assessments and medical history
- Keep clear and accurate patient medical records
- Complete post-op follow-up calls
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring :
- ASN degree from accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience in critical care, dialysis or O.R. experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Basic computer skills
- High integrity, collaborator with patient service focus and flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, yet also function in a highly collaborative, fast paced, team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
