Job Description :
Come teach the next generation of nurses in a student-focused, team-oriented environment! We are accepting applications for part - time adjunct instructors for our Practical Nursing Program
Must reside in the (DC, VA, MD) DMV area.
Instruction may include a variety of modalities : face to face, remote, and online. Instructors will teach in a variety of setting : skills, lab and clinical.
All applications will be received on a continuous basis. Minimum Qualifications :
KSA's
- Current unencumbered Virginia licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Outlook) and ability to utilize current classroom technology
- Must have the ability to provide student instruction in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Annual submission of professional development, CEU’s and competence required
Required Qualifications :
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- A minimum of 2 years of direct nursing care experience in the clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prior experience teaching in higher education
- Experience teaching in classroom, hybrid, and online formats.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive working and learning environment.
