JOB SUMMARY :

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the corporate / desktop recruiting function, overseeing the full cycle recruiting and talent acquisition strategy for managerial, professional, and technical positions. This role combines hands-on recruiting excellence with strong people leadership, serving as both a strategic talent advisor and team developer. The position is accountable for building and maintaining talent pipelines while developing and coaching a high-performing team of talent acquisition specialists.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead and execute corporate / desktop recruiting strategy across all professional functions including finance, IT, human resources, product management, network operations, and leadership roles.
  • Personally manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate positions requiring advanced sourcing strategies or executive-level consultation.
  • Lead, develop and coach a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and ensure candidates progress efficiently through the recruiting cycle to meet business needs.
  • Manage and develop sourcing strategies to ensure applicant flow.
  • Provide strategic consultation and partnership with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to ensure alignment between recruiting needs and recruiting strategy.
  • Serve as strategic advisor to hiring managers on market conditions, role design and alternative sourcing approaches
  • Perform comprehensive targeted market research and develop innovative strategies to identify passive candidates and maintain robust candidate pipelines for specialized roles.
  • Effectively utilize and optimize recruiting systems and resources to improve candidate and stakeholder communication.
  • Work with key stakeholders to make recommendations and build / continuously improve systems, processes and reporting capabilities. Set KPI's benchmarks, metrics, and understands how to prioritize to meet and exceed all business SLAs.
  • Manage recruiting and staffing vendors for corporate roles including contracts, SLAs and staffing order process to ensure compliance with agreements and staffing levels.
  • Make strategic recommendations to key stakeholders and decision makers on building appropriate systems processes, and reports to enhance recruiting effectiveness
  • Lead and drive recruiting process improvement projects and manage programs through completion; provide project support for various HR initiatives.
  • Partner successfully with other HR team members to achieve goals and deliver on accountabilities, driving consistency across functional areas and locations.
  • Effectively select, develop, coach, empower and motivate direct reports to ensure professional growth, expanded scope of responsibility and accountability for recruiting excellence.
  • Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and corporate policies throughout the recruiting process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Talent Management, Organizational Development or related discipline preferred
  • 5 years' work experience in recruiting talent acquisition
  • 2+ years people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment software and tools, as well as social media platforms for sourcing candidates.
  • REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS :

  • Excellent time management skills such as prioritizing / organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence all levels of the organization, and to establish credibility and respect of employees, peers, managers, and leaders.
  • Experience analyzing data using various tools for forecasting and optimization.
  • Cross-functional project management experience.
  • Basic / Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.
  • Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fluid environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with poise and professionalism.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably Taleo or Avature) and HRIS.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

  • Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.
  • Regular sitting at workstation for 25 75% of the work shift.
  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Able to work a range of shifts based on operational need.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required.
