You’ll need :
- High school diploma / GED and college credits in early childhood.
- NYS Teacher Assistant Certification (ATAS) within 6 months of hire date.
- Early childhood college credits and / or related classroom experience.
- State Central Registry Clearance; Workshop-School Violence Intervention and Prevention.
- Good communication skills.
- Demonstrated willingness and aptitude working for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
Brookville Center for Children’s Services provides comprehensive services for children 3-21 years of age with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and autism.
