GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Geotechnical Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting soil and rock investigations, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of geotechnical principles, excellent technical writing skills, and proficiency in relevant software tools. The Geotechnical Engineer will work closely with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure successful project execution.
Duties
- Lead geotechnical investigations, including planning, fieldwork, sampling, and testing.
- Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data to develop engineering recommendations.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including foundation design, slope stability, and earth retention system analyses.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop cost-effective and innovative solutions.
- Provide geotechnical expertise during construction phases, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee their fieldwork and analysis.
