Responsibilities

  • Maintain, manage and update projects schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 on a monthly basis or as needed.
  • Maintain proper project and activity codes in the Primavera Systems.
  • Review project status periodically and identify schedule / cost variance.
  • Perform project / program / portfolio cost and schedule analysis.
  • Prepare monthly capital progress / variance reports and assist in preparation of executive level summary reports.
  • Conduct analysis of the capital plan spending and forecasting, evaluate and report on project progress and performance.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other project controls specialists; mentor and supervise junior project controls staff, as needed.

Required Skills

  • Project Controls Specialist requires 6+ years of hands-on Primavera P6 experience on version 8.3 or higher.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, accounting, economic or business administration discipline or a Project Management Professional certification along with a technical degree.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of project control.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products, Primavera (Oracle’s Project Management software).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
