Responsibilities
- Maintain, manage and update projects schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 on a monthly basis or as needed.
- Maintain proper project and activity codes in the Primavera Systems.
- Review project status periodically and identify schedule / cost variance.
- Perform project / program / portfolio cost and schedule analysis.
- Prepare monthly capital progress / variance reports and assist in preparation of executive level summary reports.
- Conduct analysis of the capital plan spending and forecasting, evaluate and report on project progress and performance.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other project controls specialists; mentor and supervise junior project controls staff, as needed.
Required Skills
- Project Controls Specialist requires 6+ years of hands-on Primavera P6 experience on version 8.3 or higher.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, accounting, economic or business administration discipline or a Project Management Professional certification along with a technical degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of project control.
- Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products, Primavera (Oracle’s Project Management software).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
