Short Job Description
The ideal Line Boring, Welder, & Fabricator is responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment
Responsibilities
- Utilize all equipment needed for line bore operations, including set up, measurements, welding up and cutting of bores to spec.
- Must be proficient in use of all Welding, Cutting, Lancing and grinding tools
- Have some mechanical skills and be able to operate press gear for disassembly & assembly as needed
- Understand metal properties and what types to use for a variety of applications
- Must be able to multitask projects
- Must have proficiency in the following : reading prints and specs, the use of measuring tools, the math skills required for setting up and performing line boring operations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred
