Our client located in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career and join a dynamic team in the freight industry!

The Vice President of Sales is a permanent opportunity with an hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities :

  • The Sales team currently consists of 3 "Pods", consisting of a Regional VP and 5-6 Sales Directors (VP will be responsible for hiring one or more additional Pods).
  • Quickly determine the strengths of the team and identify areas to grow and empower them (many of the team are remote throughout the country).

Qualifications :

  • 7-10+ years in a similar role with proven success growing, hiring, and empowering a sales team.
  • PE backed company experience - understands how to move the needle from A to Z quickly.
  • SaaS Experience.
  • Enterprise Experience - you will be working with large companies.
  • Bachelor's degree (not a deal breaker but education is highly valued).

Preferred Experience :

  • Managed Service Experience - small to medium companies - using supply chain software.
  • TMS - Transportation Management Service experience.

Work Hours & Travel :

M-F normal business hours; 25-30% travel at the discretion of the VP of Sales - likely more upfront as they get to know the team and as needed with high profile clients to support the team.

Job Title : Vice President of Sales

Opportunity : Permanent

Location : Hybrid in Brentwood, TN

Salary : $250-275k base plus incentive pay TBD based on the candidate. Likely $400-600k all in as well as equity potential.
