Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Senior

Key Role :

Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts as you work on complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions.

Operate with substantial latitude for on-site customer support and collaboration with an Army client. Provide te chn ical insight and support for hardware-in-the-loop processing through integration of sof tware threat models and simulations into customer-provided hardware for virtual, lab, and field test events.

Use models including foreign threat radars, communication radios, and jammers. Support the hardware testing, model performance, and model calibration aspects as required.

Work closely with engineers and te chn i cia ns and provide liaison support to the government client responsible for the threat models.

Installation and testing of hardware may require some travel.

Basic Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in the direct application of modeling and simulation
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop sof tware or hardware integration
• Experience with sof tware development using languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :

• Experience with simulation development
• Possession of excellent customer interface and communication skills
• TS / SCI clearance
• Master's degree in Engineering

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;

Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
