Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Material Handling uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. May maintain records.

Shift Details : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00AM - 3 : 00 PM CST
- High school diploma / GED
- Understanding of FDA regulations surrounding the manufacturing of medical devices, and GMPs
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools
- Stock department machines / equipment with adequate and correct material or packaging supplies
- Complete inventory control transaction sheets
- Move full material boxes, pallets and carts to designated area
- Fill material feeding equipment
- Maintain certification to operate a forklift and powered lift
- Fill in as a relief operator on machines as needed
- Empty trash containers near the end of shift, consolidate and move to designated area
- Perform cleaning duties
- Comply with statutory responsibility under the national / federal regulations - take reasonable care of your own health, safety and welfare along with teammates that may be affected by your acts at work
- Follow established EH&S procedures and policies and encourage teammates to follow them
- Participate in EH&S activities such as : root cause analysis, finding solutions, implementing improvements, inspections, and meetings
- Complete and remain up to date on required EH&S training
- Follow all ISO 13485, GMP, OSHA and plant / corporate standards, policies, and procedures
- Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed
- Report all safety incidents, hazards, and potential unsafe working conditions
- Work overtime as required
- Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
- Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
- Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
