SUMMARY
This position makes rounds of assigned county facilities and safeguards individuals and property. Work includes directing and assisting members of the public visiting the facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Opening / Closing of facility;
- Daily interior / exterior patrols of facility;
- When required, work with Sheriff's deputies in the operation of security equipment, which includes metal detectors and x-ray equipment;
- Assist and direct visitors, as needed;
- Other, related duties as may be required;
- Schedule will be for weekends and holidays.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Valid PA driver's license;
- Must be at least 21 years of age;
- No record of criminal convictions;
- Must have prior experience in security or law enforcement;
- Must be willing to take mandatory training classes.
