Position : Senior SAP Finance Functional Solution Architect

Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP Finance Functional Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Finance solutions that align with our business objectives.

This role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and experience across various finance modules and processes.

The ideal candidate will act as the subject matter expert in SAP Finance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, integrated solutions.

You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, providing thought leadership, and ensuring that our SAP Finance landscape supports and enhances financial operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Solution Architecture & Design : Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end SAP Finance solutions, encompassing areas such as general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, asset accounting, treasury, tax, and controlling.
• Business Requirement Analysis : Work closely with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
• Integration Management : Ensure seamless integration of SAP Finance with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD) and third-party applications, ensuring data consistency and compliance across platforms.
• System Optimization : Identify opportunities for process improvement, solution optimization, and system performance enhancement within the SAP Finance domain.
• Compliance & Governance : Ensure SAP Finance solutions comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, implementing necessary controls and governance structures.
• Project Leadership & Delivery : Oversee project deliverables and ensure timely and successful implementation of SAP Finance solutions, guiding technical and functional teams on best practices.
• Mentorship & Collaboration : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects, consultants, and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
• Stakeholder Management : Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders, presenting SAP Finance solutions and recommendations that align with strategic business goals.

Required Qualifications :

• Experience : 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with a focus on solution architecture and a deep understanding of SAP FI / CO modules.
• Technical Expertise : Proficiency in SAP S / 4HANA Finance, SAP FI / CO modules, and finance-related modules such as Treasury, Tax, Asset Accounting, and Consolidation.
• Project Experience : Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP Finance projects and end-to-end solution design within complex environments.
• Soft Skills : Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications : SAP Finance certification is preferred; certifications in S / 4HANA, SAP FI / CO, or SAP Solution Architecture are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Industry Knowledge : Experience in specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, financial services, retail is advantageous.
• Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with experience using SAP Activate methodology.
• Languages : Specify any language requirements if applicable, e.g., proficiency in German is a plus.
