IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Inceed has partnered with an leading player in the Electrical Power Infrastructure and Technology industry to help find a skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team!

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team. As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a variety of IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business goals.

Prior experience with RACI Matrix is essential for this role.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to effectively manage project resources and achieve project goals.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, manage dependencies, and resolve any project-related issues or conflicts.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, provide project updates to stakeholders, and effectively communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Utilize the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) Matrix methodology to define roles and responsibilities for project tasks and deliverables.
• Monitor and control project scope, budget, and resources, ensuring any changes are properly documented, approved, and communicated.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects within budget and timeline constraints.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, systems, and architectures.
• Demonstrated experience with the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) Matrix methodology and its practical implementation in project management.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and managing project risks.
• Experience in vendor management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience :

Prior experience working for a Big 4 or similar type of consulting organization is a huge plus, but not required.

Other Information :

• This is a hybrid position based in Central Houston.
• The client requires contract employees to be onsite 2-3 days per week, with added flexibility after a period of time.
• This is a six month contract with the high likelihood of being extended to twelve months and beyond.
