Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Neurology Service in Ann Arbor, MI.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide specialized neurologic care within a well-established, multi-specialty practice.
Our practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders. You will collaborate with a team of Board-Certified Neurologists and a skilled Advance Practice Providers.
Services include consultative services, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), evoked potentials, vestibular testing, and deep brain stimulation programming.
Educational and Certification Requirements :
- Degree : Masters or Doctorate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
- Certification :
- Physician Assistants must hold a PA-C (Certified Physician Assistant) credential
- Licensure : Active and unrestricted licensure to practice in the state of Michigan
Experience and Skills :
- Clinical Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in a neurology or acute care setting preferred. Inpatient experience is highly desirable.
- Neurologic Knowledge : In-depth understanding of neurologic conditions, diagnostic procedures, and treatments. Familiarity with EEG, EMG, and other neurodiagnostic tools.
- Patient Care : Proven ability to manage complex inpatient neurology cases, including conducting thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Skills : Proficient in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, managing acute neurological conditions, and utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

- Team Collaboration : Strong team player with experience in a collaborative, multi-specialty environment.
- Adaptability : Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic inpatient setting, and respond to changing patient needs and priorities.
- Commitment : Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in neurology and acute care practice.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in a high-acuity inpatient setting.
- Advanced certifications or specialized training in neurology or neurocritical care.
- Proficiency in advanced neurodiagnostic techniques and treatment modalities.
